Fly into the White Mountains on a route none of our other tours take. You’ll lift off near Fairbanks and head deep into the range, then set down at a remote landing site we can only reach by helicopter. From up here, the country opens out: ridgelines and valleys with no road, no trail, and, most days, no one else in sight. Flight windows are set by permit and season, so dates are few and fill fast. On the way back, you’ll pass the Trans-Alaska Pipeline from the air before you land at the basecamp.
