PREPARATION
  • ARRIVALTours depart from Borealis Basecamp. Contact our reservations team for shuttle bookings or plan to arrive from Fairbanks at least one hour before your tour.
  • CHECK-INMeet at the activities desk 15 minutes before your tour for waivers and gear fitting.
  • DRESS WARMWe provide a snow suit, but ensure you have appropriate layers for comfort.
  • WEIGHT CONSIDERATIONSAll Guests will be required to be weighed prior to loading into the helicopter with ALL clothing and any gear they will be bringing. This is an essential step for safety. Guests will be weighed at time of check in in the main lodge. Each seat in the helicopter has a 300 lb limit, and if any guest is over this limit (including gear) they will be refunded and their seat will be cancelled.
